Ivy Bennell was born at Carrolup Mission on the 5th of September 1944. In these recordings she tells many stories including those about living on a reserve, working for Roy Adams at Ravenswood Bend, the rules and punishments she experienced as a child, of her Father catching fish and smoking them along with many others about the Fish Trap, spearing fish and netting them. She has many stories about traditional Aboriginal knowledge.
