Back to Stories

In this interview with Joan Gallop and Meg Tasker, both nee’ Sutton, storied told include their first memories of Hall’s Cottage and childhood, memories of their mother Violet Sutton and how Mandurah was in the 1920s. They also remember life at Sutton’s farm which was an important place for Aboriginal people in the Peel Region. This association goes back to the Aboriginal people who worked on the farm and in many cases, like Yaburgurt and his family, lived and camped there as well.
