Archie Tuckey was born in Bunbury on the 8th of November 1914. The Tuckey family were among thefirst Europeans to settle in Mandurah during 1830, and their long term involvement with the town gives them a great knowledge of most aspects of life in Mandurah. Here Archie discusses his childhood and life in Mandurah during the 1920s and 30s. He goes on to talk about his time as a professional fisherman and also his experiences with local Aboriginal people, a highlight of which being an important Corroboree.
